Organization of the Church

The Unitarian Universalist Church in Victoria is operated like any democratic organization. Each year, an Executive Board is elected at the annual meeting which is held in May. The annual meeting is open to all members of the Congregation. At the annual meeting, a budget for the next year is established. The Church is governed by a set of bylaws that is reviewed and updated every few years. The Executive Board meets each month. The Program Committee establishes the programs for the year. Presently, the goal is to have a visiting Unitarian Universalist minister once per month. During the summer months of June and July, the Church has services on only the first and third Sunday of the month.

The Unitarian Universalist Church is affiliated with the national Unitarian Universalist Association and is a member of the Southwest Unitarian Universalist Conference.
